ELIXEA Salt Glow Treatment can be used as an exfoliation treatment prior to body wraps or hydrotherapy or can be offered as a beautifying treatment in its own right.
sBBThe aim is to gently exfoliate and polish the skin, creating radiance and lustre. The treatment also breaks down the residue from soaps detergents and lotions, and increases the absorption of Body Masks (applied immediately afterwards) into the tissues.
sBBMix 4 tablespoons of ELIXEA Mineral Rich Salt Glow with 2 tablespoons of ELIXEA Complete Oil or a water-dispersible massage oil. Add a few drops of an appropriate essential oil blend if desired (we recommend ELIXEA Circulation Blend).
sBBApply the salt glow mix with your hands using flowing movements. This will feel like a massage in itself but does not need deep pressure, just a 'polishing' light but vigorous touch. Always work towards the heart.
sBBThe salt glow can be removed in a shower or under a vichy shower. If no shower is available, remove with warm, damp towels using long slow heavy strokes.
sBBIf the treatment is not followed by a body wrap, finish off with ELIXEA Body Lotion. Recommend ELIXEA Body Scrub Cream for home use.
