Elixea Moor / Seaweed Gel Body Wrap

ELIXEA Moor Gel & Seaweed Gel Body Masks have been specially formulated for therapists who do not have access to wet room facilities. The active moisturizing base of these gels ensures that most of the mask absorbs into the skin during the treatment. As a result, very little product needs to be removed - making the teatments easy to perform in a dry room with a simple massage table.

sBBIn general the benefits of the ELIXEA Body Mask will be similar to those of the pure Moor mask, but with less potency. The added benefit would be the extra moisturizing factor. We recommend the Moor Gel Body Mask for therapeutic applications including detoxification. The Seaweed Gel Body Mask is recommended more for improving the quality and condition of the skin.

sBBThe treatment table can be prepared in the same way described for the Pure Moor Body Wrap (see above)

sBBThe body wrap begins with an exfoliation treatment. Again, use either the ELIXEA Salt Glow treatment (see below) or dry brushing (preferably following Dr Berkowsky's Vital Chi Skin Brushing system.)

sBBThe preferred Gel Mask can now be applied to the whole body either by hand or with a brush. If applying by hand the gel can be massaged into the skin to enhance the enjoyment of the treatment.

sBBThe body should now be wrapped in the plastic sheet and covered with a warm blanket. Alternatively, a steam canopy or warm damp towels or bandages can be used. The client now relaxes for 30 to 40 minutes (20 minutes if using a steam canopy)

sBBAny Gel Mask that still remains on the skin can be removed with warm towels, after which ELIXEA Body Lotion should be applied to finish off the treatment. For anti-cellulite treatments massage ELIXEA Contour Cream vigorously into the desired areas.
