What is BioCeramics?
BioCeramics as used in Bio-Shorts is a flexible product which is blended from a variety of ceramics mixed with mineral oxides, then applied as a laminated layer in the fabric of the shorts.
The BioCeramic material both generates and reflects Far Infrared (FIR) rays - the key to heat generation which accelerates the active ingredients in ELIXEA Contour Cream.
What are Far Infrared Rays?
Far Infrared Rays (FIR) are part of the sunlight spectra that is invisible to the naked eye. Although the source of FIR is most commonly attributed to the sun, scientists have discovered that the human body also generates the same FIR through the process of metabolism. This generates heat, which emanates from the body at a wavelength of between 4-16 microns.
How does FIR work in the Bio-Shorts?
When the body’s FIR comes into contact with the BioCeramic layer of the Bio-Shorts, the BioCeramics both absorb and amplify that energy, then radiate the FIR back into the body at the same 4-16 micron wavelength. Therefore the body is naturally able to accept the reflected FIR into the system. FIR can penetrate up to 4 inches below the skin, thereby reaching deep into the tissues.
Is there a limit in the use of the Bio-Shorts?
No, there is no limit to the amount of use of these products. The more you use the System, the better your results will be.
How soon can I expect to see results?
Most people see visible changes in their skin tone within a few days, and in the appearance of cellulite and excess fat within a few weeks.
Is there anything else that I can do to accelerate the results?
Yes. Positive changes in lifestyle, diet and exercise will certainly help in the long term. In addition we recommend the following:
1) Take an ELIXEA Body Wrap at your spa once a week over a 6 week period. This treatment helps to purify and revitalize the skin and underlying tissues and is an excellent aid in anti-cellulite and weight loss programs.
2) Use the ELIXEA Detoxification Program at home on a regular basis - take an ELIXEA Herbal Bath 2 or 3 times a week and the ELIXEA Herbal Bouquet once or twice daily. This will help to purify the body both from the inside outwards and the outside inwards.
How do I use the Bio-Shorts?
As with any treatment program, consistency is important to achieve the desired results. Since the Bio-Shorts are very comfortable to wear, it will not be a chore to use them. So wear your shorts often - whether you are just sitting at your computer, watching TV or exercising. The more you use the Bio-Shorts and the Contour Cream together, the better your results will be.
Apply the Contour Cream before putting on the Bio-Shorts and massage deeply into the thigh, buttock and stomach areas. Wear your Bio-Shorts at least one hour each time you use the system. Using the cream and wearing the shorts for longer periods is even better. There is no time frame or limit on use.
After your ‘BioCeramic Contouring Treatment’, shower and then reapply the Contour Cream as described above.
How Do I Take Care of the Bio-Shorts?
Rinse the shorts in a mild soap and hang to dry. NEVER put in a washing machine or dryer. If you take care of your shorts this way, they should last a very long time.
