Description: Algamoor is a unique, 10,000 year old substance, extracted from a pristine lake bed in Northern Germany. The Algamoor was formed in a similar way to Moor mud but is composed entirely of algae instead of plant matter.
Algamoor is now used by many hospitals and clinics in Northern Germany for applications in dermatology, gynaecology, rheumatology as well as cosmetics and sports injuries.
Many species of algae are present in the Algamoor including:
Pinnularia viridis, Pinnularia gibba, Pediastrum boryanum, Scenedesmus caudatu, Synedra capitata, Spongilla lacustris, Coconeis placentula, Cymbella Ehrenbergii, Suriella biseriata, Epithemia turgida, Navicula oblonga, Stanroneis phienicenteron
The Algamoor is also rich in minerals including: magnesium, calcium, manganese, iron, silicon and sulphur.
Instructions For Use: Exfoliate either by dry brushing or using ELIXEA Salt Glow treatment. Apply Algamoor straight from the container by brush or hand in a thin even layer. Wrap with plastic, mylar or warm moist towels, or apply steam. Leave for 30 to 40 minutes, then rinse off with warm water.
